Tahiti's Coral Reef Destruction - Paris Olympics 2024

Dear Earth Friends,

According to Matahi Drollet, Teahupoo's coral reef will be destroyed due to the building of an aluminum judging tower, in preparation for the Paris Olympics 2024. A new aluminum tower is unnecessary, since there is already an existing wooden tower that's always been used for surfing competitions in Teahupo'o. But the Olympics want to destroy it because apparently air-conditioning and toilets (for just 3 days) are more important to them than the ecosystems health and biodiversity.
